中國人民抗日戰爭暨世界反法西斯戰爭勝利80周年 升旗暨觀看閱兵儀式

3^rd September 2025 was the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression Victory Memorial Day and also the World Anti-Fascist War Victory Memorial Day. During the 14 years of arduous resistance, countless Chinese fought with bravery, defending national dignity and barely survival with their lives. To commemorate and give thanks to our ancestors who brought peace with their sacrifice, all teachers and students watched the flag-raising ceremony and the full military parade ceremony live in the school hall.

 

The event started with a teacher explaining the significance of the "80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War." Then everyone respectfully stood following the Chinese Premier’s instructions in the live broadcast, faced the screen and sang the national anthem as the flag was raised. Afterwards, teachers and students sat down and watched the parade. Students watched attentively in a serious manner, and clapped with the applause at Tiananmen, making everyone feel as if they were there.

 

During the lunch break, the song "Unity Is Strength", provided by the Hong Kong Flag-Raising Association, was played in the campas. Many students stopped in the corridor to view the "80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression Photo Exhibition", which was also organised by the aforementioned association.

 

The day’s activities ended triumphantly and successfully.
