粵港飲食歷史文化專題講座

The History Department of our school led Form 3 and Form 4 students to participate in a subject seminar on the cultural history of Cantonese cuisine, organized by the Hong Kong Chinese Culture Development Association and funded by the Quality Education Fund. The event was presented by Dr. Siu Yan-ho from the Hong Kong Baptist University, who explained the historical and cultural significance of Cantonese cuisine. The activity provided students with a deeper understanding of Chinese culinary culture and enhanced their sense of belonging to their own ethnicity. Their knowledge of history and culture, as well as their sense of national identity, were all increased through this event.
