「Race to the Line micro:bit模型火箭車比賽」是一項集結科學、科技、數學、工程學、數學及設計等範疇於一身的國際性比賽。學生需要學習及運用相關的數理知識，配合科技應用幫助設計及製作最快的模型火箭車，以進行速度競賽。學生在設計和製作模型火箭車的過程中，經歷了設計、製作、測試及改良工程設計的步驟，同時亦跟同學協作及分工合作，各展所長，增加創意及提升解難能力，將理論融入實踐，達成STEAM的學習目標。

“Race to the Line micro:bit Model Rocket Car Competition” is an international completition that integrates knowledge and skills in Science, Technology, Engineering Mathematics and Design. Students learnt and applied knowledge from Mathematics and Science combined with technological applications to design and built the fastest model rocket cars, such that it could compete in terms of speed. In this activity, developed based on the competition, students learnt to design and built the model rocket cars as well as learnt related science knowledge. Students also engaged in steps of an engineering design process including research, design,  building,  testing and improvements. Students were provided with opportunities for collaboration and allowed each individual participant to contribute,  nurture their creativity and problem solving skills,  integrated theory and practice, thereby achieving the core objectives of STEAM education.
