學校疫苗接種日

本校於九月三十日舉辦了「學校疫苗接種日」，安排「疫苗資助學校外展服務」的醫生到校為學生接種科興疫苗。是次活動吸引超過200人報名參加，當中包括西貢區50所幼稚園、小學和中學的學生、家長和教職員。此舉不但方便家長照顧學生，且能集中資源於同一場地為學生接種不同劑次的疫苗。

接種疫苗是防禦新冠病毒的最有效方法，可減低重症和死亡風險；提高接種率亦有助校園築起更有效的保護屏障，以保護個人及社區健康。故此，鼓勵大家及早接種疫苗。

The School Vaccination Day was held on 30^th September, 2022. Under the Vaccination Subsidy Scheme School Outreach, we arranged doctors to provide outreach Sinovac vaccination service for students. The event attracted about 200 students and parents to enrol for a COVID-19 jab, with participation from over 50 kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in the Sai Kung and Tseung Kwan O districts. Moreover, school vaccination activities are more effective as parents could take care of vaccinated students and resources could be concentrated on a single spot for providing different doses of the vaccine.

Vaccination is the most effective way to protect against COVID-19 and can reduce the risk of severe cases and fatalities. A high vaccination rate protects the health of individuals and the community, students could also resume their happy school life.
