西貢區中學巡禮

由西貢區家長教師會聯會主辦的2022年西貢區中學巡禮中一入學講座，已於十月二十二日(星期六)在本校圓滿舉行。當天下午出席是次中一入學講座的家長及學生共有400餘名，禮堂上座無虛席。熱情的小六學生和家長分別由8架的旅遊巴送到本校，本校同學隨即以中國傳統鼓樂和小提琴等音樂表演歡迎來賓，亦於操場上展示了他們的STEAM作品。講座開始，先由姚校長發表了熱烈的歡迎辭，並向來賓介紹了我校課程的亮點。我校可愛的小司儀以粵語、英語及普通話，介紹了本校的STEAM 活動和英語課程，並分享學校如何幫助中一新生適應本校的英語教學環境。另外，本校家長、校友、應屆香港中學文憑考試成績優異學生和傑出學生獎（新界）得獎者亦向來賓分享本校的校園生活。整個活動在愉快熱鬧的氣氛下完成。

The S1 Admission Talk for the 2022 Secondary School Tour of Sai Kung District organized by the Federation of Parent-Teacher Association of Sai Kung District was successfully conducted. With the concerted effort from all parties, more than 400 visitors attended the briefing session. The eight coaches packed with enthusiastic P6 students and their parents were welcomed by our students. Those included music groups such as traditional Chinese drums and violins and students demonstrating STEAM products. Our Principal Ms Yiu gave a very warm welcome speech with highlights of some school programs. Our lovely MCs briefly introduced some STEAM activities and English programs to help S1 students to adapt to an EMI school enviornment. There was sharing from parents, an awardee of the Outstanding Student Award (New Territories), a successful alumni and a recently graduated student with outstanding HKDSE results. The overall atmosphere was one of a happy one throughout the event.
