Odyssey of the Mind
Odyssey of the Mind (OM™) is an international program that is designed to help students at all learning levels grow as individual learners, grow as team members, and to reach their full potential. OM brings the classroom to life. OM also emphasizes teamwork, budgeting, time management, public speaking. Our students joined Odyssey of the Mind (OM™) so that they could learn how to develop and use their kind of creativity to become problem-solvers. They learnt not being afraid to solve problems. This skill and self-confidence would carry over to all areas of their lives. Students applied what they learnt and combined it with their interests and passions to solve open-ended problems in the completitions. Two teams of 7 students from our school represented Hong Kong. One of the teams won the 9th place and the other team won the 35th place in the world finals.
